Hello:Home> How to correctly select the type of oil cooler?
1, through the cooling oil inlet and outlet temperature difference to calculate the heat
Q = SH × De × F × DT / 60
Q: Calorific value KW (Note: Kawamoto 1P oil cooler calorific value is about 2.5KW)
SH: Specific heat of specific heat oil is 1.97KJ/Kg*C (1.97 kJ/kg *C)
De: Specific oil specific gravity 0.88Kg/L (0.88 kg /L)
F: Flow rate LPM (L/min L/min)
DT: Cooling oil inlet and outlet temperature difference (outlet temperature - inlet temperature)
Note: "/ 60" is used to change the flow rate from L/min to L/SEC; 1kW = 1kJ/s;
Example 1: The cooling water oil intake is 15 degrees, the oil output is 20 degrees, and the flow rate is 20 liters/min
Calorific value Q = 4.2 ×1 × 20 × (20-15) / 60 = 7KW
When selecting the cooling capacity of the chiller, the CBEY-04W can be appropriately increased by 20%-50%
Example 2: The cooling oil inlet is 18 degrees, the oil output is 26 degrees, and the flow rate is 15 liters/min
Calorific value Q = 1.97× 0.88×15×(26-18) /60 = 2.6KW
When selecting the cooling capacity of the cold water (oil) machine, CBE-02A can be appropriately increased by 20%-50%
2, through the equipment power, heat estimation
A. If used for spindle cooling, the cooling capacity of the required refrigeration unit can be estimated according to 30% of the spindle motor power.
Example: 15KW motor, optional 4.5kw or 5.8kw cooling capacity refrigeration unit;
3, through the temperature rise of the tank to calculate the heat
Q = SH × De × V × DT / 60
Q: Calorific value KW
SH: Specific heat of oil is 1.97KJ/Kg*C (1.97 kJ/kg *C)
De: Specific oil specific gravity 0.88Kg/L (0.88 kg /L)
V: Oil capacity L (L) Includes the total water capacity in the tank and pipeline
DT:) The maximum temperature rise in one minute
Note: "/ 60" is used to change the temperature rise Celsius/min to Celsius/SEC; 1kW = 1kJ/s;
Note: When measuring, the temperature of the tank should be slightly lower than the ambient temperature; And the equipment is working under the maximum load.
Example: Water tank volume 3000L maximum water temperature 0.6 degrees/minute
Calorific value Q = 4.2 × 1 × 3000 × 0.6/60 = 126KW
When selecting the cooling capacity of the oil cooler, CBEY-50W can be appropriately increased by 20%-50%;
Additional note:
1, the cooling capacity of the oil cooler changes with the ambient temperature and water temperature;
2, the actual heat of the equipment will also change because of different workpieces, molds, parameters, etc.;
3. The temperature drops after the use of the oil cooler, and the surface temperature of the connecting pipe, water tank, oil tank, mold, spindle and equipment will be lower than the ambient temperature, so it will absorb heat and lead to an increase in load;
4, in the practical application of industrial cooling, many cases can not be accurately calculated using the above method, and can only be estimated by empirical data, similar equipment analogy and other methods.
5, any calculation method may be biased, so that the actual selection of refrigeration units is too large or too few, so the above method is only for reference;
